Dumfries: The Old Bridge over the River Nith. The traffic over the road bridge behind this footbridge was horrendous, so I pulled off for a break.

Stranraer: Looking out from the ferry port of Stranraer, one can just see the white dot of a ferry at Cairnryan.

Coming out of Laurieston Forest: At the end of a long wet day the sun eventually came out. As I emerged from Laurieston Forest this sight greeted me.

River Dee: The River Dee makes its way down to the sea from this vantage point just below the barrage at Loch Ken.

Talla Reservoir: Taken from the bridge over Talla Water, the river drops steeply over a series of waterfalls into Talla Reservoir below.
