14 Jun 2009: A quick day trip Windemere, breakfast at Ambleside, up the Wrynose Pass and Hardknott Pass, take the Dalegarth for Boot narrow guage railroad, and a short stop at Wast Water.

12 Jun 2009: Big jumps at Bramham. With a long course, large jumps and a beautiful setting, this has to be the best venue for horse trials I have ever seen.

31 May 2009: Mom's visit to London... ...Natural History Museum, V&A Museum and the British Museum in one day. Too much to see in one day and the traffic was 'orrible!

24 May 2009: Beautiful day in the Yorkshire Dales, out on the new R1200GS, what more can a person want? Scampston Hall is just off the A64 on the road to Scarborough, and I have always wanted to see the river that is just visible from the road.
